The unofficial start of summer has come and gone, the days are long and warm, as we have more freedom, we are becoming more active. For some of us we will be playing more golf as the golf courses and driving ranges open. I have been playing golf almost my whole life and absolutely love the game and love helping golfers enjoy the game more through chiropractic care.
During longer layoffs from the game, or any other activity, we become less flexible, more inflamed and it takes us longer to ‘loosen up.’ There is a tremendous amount of stress on the spine, specifically in the neck and lower back during the golf swing. Bending and twisting is one the worst things for your lower back and happens with every single golf swing. We also rotate our body around our neck when we swing the club as we look at the ball during the golf swing. Chiropractic adjustments help increase flexibility, decrease inflammation and relieve spinal stress in the lower back and neck when we hit any shot. Chiropractic absolutely helps improve the function of the whole body making the golfer healthier to enjoy the game for a lifetime. Although chiropractic won’t cure your slice, get rid of your duck hook or take care of the putting yips, chiropractic will help you enjoy the game more by increasing your mobility and improve your overall health.
Please give us a call to see how chiropractic can best serve you and your golf game.
